Red Global Creativa is pleased to inform that the OPENING of our 2ND ARTISTIC AND LITERARY MEETING,will take place on June 9, 10 and 11 of the current year. Visual works and selected books will participate in an exhibition of 15 continuous days, that is, until June 25, 2023. On the day of the opening, artists from other categories may participate: musicians, dancers, actors, storytellers, writers without published books, poets, etc.

Aware of the importance and value of creating meeting points between artists from different disciplines and writers from around the world, and with the intention of making talent known and magnifying its brilliance, We have chosen a wonderful setting for the headquarters of our GREAT INTERNATIONAL EVENT: the magical city of SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MEXICO, same as it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and where a public that loves art and culture prevails, as well as readers, businessmen, collectors, gallery owners and curators.

This small city, in the state of Guanajuato, in 2017 was named by the prestigious magazine Travel + Leisure as THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLDThis is due to the quality of the service provided by cafeterias, restaurants, bars, craft shops and the many art galleries. Also for the friendliness of the population, its gastronomy, the cleanliness of its streets, without forgetting its great cultural contribution and architectural beauty. There are around of 150 art galleries; 13 thousand foreigners inhabit the city, coming from Canada and United States also some Italian, Swiss, English and French. A city surrounded by beautiful vineyards and lavender fields. The perfect place for an event that unites the ARTS with the LETTERS.

We have opted for an unparalleled setting, within this marvelous city, for the realization of this GREAT EVENT, Soma District, a space where, in an EXCEPTIONAL WAY, different disciplines coexist: interior design, plastic arts, painting, literature and music. DISTRITO SOMA houses RENOWNED INTERNATIONAL ART GALLERIES and spaces dedicated to CULTUREamong which are  our two great allies, AMARILLO 78 GALLERY and LORETO BOOKSTORE.

 

The public who come to this beautiful forum are, for the most part, tourists and foreign residents, who appreciate and value the different disciplines of ART AND LETTERS.

 

With this 2nd ARTISTIC AND LITERARY MEETING, Creative Global Network reaffirms his commitment to CREATE OPPORTUNITIES to catapult talent of visual artists, dancers, musicians, actors and writers, and project it to the world.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CALL FOR THE EVENT CALLED “2ND ARTISTIC AND LITERARY MEETING” ORGANIZED BY RED GLOBAL CREATIVA:

 

Any person who, in accordance with these bases, wishes to participate in the call for the EVENT "2DO ARTISTIC AND LITERARY MEETING", agrees to comply with all of them, and by participating it will be understood that they have read, accepted and understood these bases and are undertakes to comply with the requirements and conditions established herein. The organizer of the promotion is RED GLOBAL CREATIVA, whose legal representative is Cecilia Álvarez Moreno whose tax domicile is located in Mexico City, which agrees with each and every one of those participants who comply and accept the terms herein, the following Terms and Conditions of participation for the dynamic (hereinafter identified herein as the "Terms and Conditions").

BASES

I. CALL ADDRESSED TO:

 

  • Writers with at least one published book.

 

Nationality: Mexicans or foreigners.

 

Language: English or Spanish.

*If you live within the Mexican Republic or ABROAD, and require support to organize your trip to San Miguel Allende, safely and economically, indicate it when filling out the registration form, to contact an advisor.

 

II. PARTICIPATION CATEGORIES:

 

  • Emerging: emerging writers will be considered those who have less than three published books.

 

  • Consolidated: writers who can accredit at least three published books.

  • Writers of the future: participants under 18 years of age who have at least one book published, with the authorization of a tutor.

 

  • Inclusive Writers: participants with some type of disability motor, visual, auditory or cognitive disability with at least one published book.

 

Those who are minors or have cognitive disabilities must have the authorization of a tutor who certifies their participation. For this fact, the participation form must be filled out by said tutor.

V. PARTICIPATION MECHANICS

 

  • The selection of the participants, allocation of places and presentation dynamics on the day of the opening, will be carried out through a COMPETITION. This means that the materials registered by the participants will be submitted to an evaluation process, which will be carried out by RED GLOBAL CREATIVA AND LORETO BOOKSTORE.

 

VI. PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION

 

  • The registration of participation IS FREEwill be performed filling out the APPLICATION FORM that you will find by clicking on the VIOLET BUTTON, at the end of the CALL.

  • It is important that the "APPLICATION FORM" is duly completed, according to what is requested in each reagent. Otherwise, you will be out of competition. DO NOT FORGET to click on the SEND button, once you upload the requested information to the form.

  • ​If at the time of registration you had an error in filling in your data, you should contact the official email to receive advice:redglobalcreativa@gmail.com Participants who have more than one registration will be automatically disqualified.

 

VII. VALIDITY FOR THE REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPATION

 

The registration of materials will be open from February 18 to March 31 of the current year. The registration period starts at 00:00 h. on February 18, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2023. (CDMX TIME) There will be no extension or exception on registration dates.

 

VIII. SUBMISSION OF THE PROPOSAL AND REGISTRATION COST BY RED GLOBAL CREATIVA.

 

  • As soon as the evaluation of the information received in the participation form has been carried out,the verdict of the jury and the participation proposal accompanied by the registration fee will be sent by registered mail. Said proposal may be personalized for each participant, since it is an open call for the different disciplines of Arts and Letters, and this implies  variation of participation times, spatial location, required materials , etc.

  • If you accept the proposal, the registration amount will be deferred in three payments, which must be done punctually on the days indicated in the proposal received in your email, and before April 30, 2023. Once the payment is made, you must immediately send the receipt to the mail: redglobalcreativa@gmail.com. If by April 30, 100% of the registration amount has not been covered, said participation will be canceled, without refunding the money. This is due to the fact that the money will be used to pay suppliers, since the entire month of May is required to prepare personalized printed and virtual materials.

 

  • In case of rejecting the proposal, there will be no penalty, however, if you wish to participate at a later date, such participation will be subject to availability and updating the registration fee, if required. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL PERIODICALLY, as this will be the main means of communication to send you the jury's verdict and your participation proposal.

 

 

IX. RIGHTS OF THE PRESENTIAL PARTICIPANTS INSCRIBED:
 

All selected writers who have completed the registration process will be entitled to:
 

  • Presentation, directed by a moderator, on the theme of his book. This could include reading a fragment of the book by the author himself or participating in a panel of writers according to the theme of the book (The activities, materials and time of participation will be defined and informed in a timely manner by RED GLOBAL CREATIVA).

  • HIGH QUALITY personalized virtual advertising materials (published in the networks of EXPO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE CREATIVO (events area of RED GLOBAL CREATIVA).

  • Participate on Friday June 9 of the current year in the art workshop "A STARRY NIGHT IN SAN MIGUEL". You will take a beautiful work of art embodied with the color of their emotions. (includes materials).

  • Participate in the coffee break which will take place on June 10 of this year, at no additional cost to your companions.

  • Participate in the opening toast which will take place on June 10, 2023.

  • A page in the magazine ESCAPARATE ARTS MAGAZINE(SPECIAL EDITION) in two languages (English and Spanish). A printed copy will be provided the opening day of the event (June 10, 2023).

  • A personalized WEB page in the virtual bookstore GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS to know the review of your book, your career and the links to purchase your book, in two languages (English and Spanish). Only for writers who register before March 31.

  • Exhibition for 15 days of a 160x60cm banner with the author's photograph, the cover of his book and a QR code to direct to the purchase links, through its personalized page in the virtual bookstore GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS.

  • Be nominated for the AWARD to be delivered to the most OUTSTANDING participants of the 2ND Artistic and Literary Meeting. In case of being selected by the qualifying jury, you will receive a handmade statuette by renowned Mexican-Canadian artist Verónica Enns.

  • Participate in the toast at the AWARDS delivery ceremony (on June 10, 2023).

  • Best 3 books of the meeting will sign autographs in the facilities of LORETO BOOKSTORE.

 

Note: In case of exhibiting books in physical format, during the opening, you should deliver them on Friday June 9 2023  before 12:00 pm to assign them a place of exhibition. Delivery must be coordinated with Cecilia Álvarez, please contact her a day before on WhatsApp: +52 55 38 85 39 25.

X. RIGHTS OF VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS INSCRIBED:

 

  • Interview, on June 11 of the current year, up to 15 minutes transmitted through the platform STREAM YARD from facilities of AMARILLO78 GALLERY or LORETO BOOKSTORE. The schedule will be informed in a timely manner by RED GLOBAL CREATIVA.

  • HIGH QUALITY personalized virtual advertising materials (published in the networks of EXPO INTERNACIONAL DE ARTE CREATIVO (events area of RED GLOBAL CREATIVA).

  • A page in the magazine ESCAPARATE ARTS MAGAZINE (SPECIAL EDITION) in two languages (English and Spanish). 

  • A personalized WEB page in the virtual bookstore GLAMOUR ART AND BOOKS to know the review of your book, your career and the links to purchase your book, in two languages (English and Spanish). Only for writers who register before March 31.

XII. GENERAL INFORMATION
 

  • Participation in the contest implies acceptance of the bases, conditions, registration and general information.

  • The participants authorize the organizing party to use the images of the registered works, for dissemination, communication and promotion purposes.

  • The use of work images will be restricted exclusively for communication of the 2ND ARTISTIC AND LITERARY MEETING, for which the participant grants their consent to RED GLOBAL CREATIVA, AMARILLO 78 GALLERY AND  LORETO. BOOKSTORE said use with the mere fact of registering his work.

  • The organizing party may declare the prizes void if they do not meet the standards agreed by the qualifying jury.

  • The organizing party may unilaterally modify these rules without prior notice to the participants, their publication ON THIS WEBSITE being sufficient.

  • The contestants acknowledge and accept that the organizing party will not be responsible in any case for the partial and/or total loss, for the damage that the work in competition may suffer by third parties or due to force majeure.

ITINERARIO
VIERNES 16 DE FEBRERO:

 

EVENTO DE PREAPERTURA "DESCUBRIENDO LAS VOCES LITERARIAS Y EL ARTE EN VIVO (MUSAC)"

 

Nada iguala la emoción de escuchar a un autor presentar su obra. El público tendrá la oportunidad de conocer a autores emergentes y consolidados que compartirán sus historias, inspiraciones y experiencias personales detrás de sus creaciones literarias. Desde novelas emocionantes hasta poesía conmovedora, nuestras presentaciones abrirán las puertas a un mundo de emociones, imaginación y creatividad.

Los autores podrán llevar a cabo lecturas en voz alta, a través de ello llevarán al espectador a un viaje literario donde podrán experimentar la magia de las palabras a través de las voces de los propios autores. 

Los escritores dispondrán de 20  minutos para la presentación de su obra en las instalaciones del MUSAC (Museo de San Cristóbal de las Casas).

Los escritores y sus acompañantes podrán disfrutar del "ARTE EN VIVO" realizado por talentosos artistas plásticos  que darán vida a sus obras en tiempo real. Desde el primer trazo hasta el toque final, serán testigo de la magia que ocurre en el lienzo. Podrán conocer sus inspiraciones, técnicas y desafíos creativos. 

Los participantes tendrán derecho a participar en el coffe break.

EVENTO ESPECIAL DE APERTURA "RINDIENDO HOMENAJE A LA MULTICULTURALIDAD DE SAN CRISTÓBAL (MUSAC)"

En medio de una velada mágica, acompañada de la música y el folklor chiapaneco (show de baile que resaltará el carnaval zoque y la fiesta grande de Chiapas.), se presentarán las autoridades que brindarán su apoyo al evento, los invitados de honor y cada uno de los participantes. Asimismo, se les entregarán los reconocimientos por su participación, y se llevará a cabo la ceremonia de corte del listón de un evento que quedará marcado en la historia de San Cristóbal.

Los participantes podrán deleitarse con bebidas calientes durante el evento.

SÁBADO 17 DE FEBRERO:

INAUGURACIÓN DE LA EXPOSICIÓN "EL LENGUAJE DEL ALMA" (SALA DE EXPOSICIONES MUSAC)

Durante este día se llevará a cabo la inauguración de la exposición "El lenguaje del alma" conformada por las mejores 20 obras plásticas del evento. Los escritores y sus acompañantes podrán disfrutar de este momento tan especial junto con los artistas visuales exponentes y conocer sus impactantes obras.

 

CALLEJONEADA Y FIESTA MULTICULTURAL DE ARTE Y LIBROS AL AIRE LIBRE (CENTRO CULTURAL DEL CARMEN)

El segundo día comenzará con un mágico recorrido por los hermosos corredores de San Cristóbal. Este desfile estará encabezado por un cortejo de parachicos y chiapanecas, acompañados por los ritmos de tambores y carrizos. Haremos varias paradas en las cuales poetas y oradores cautivarán al público con sus emotivas palabras, invitándolos a unirse al recorrido. La jornada culminará en el Centro Cultural del Carmen, donde nos espera una emocionante FIESTA MULTICULTURAL DE ARTE Y LIBROS al aire libre. Aquí, escritores y artistas tendrán la oportunidad de poner a la venta sus obras plásticas y literarias. Durante esta actividad, los espectadores podrán sumergirse en una experiencia única en un entorno al aire libre donde las obras de arte originales y los libros autografiados se convertirán en tesoros que podrán llevar a casa, directamente del creador.

 

Además, los escritores participarán en una dinámica en donde ineteractuarán con el público, respondiendo preguntas de  su interés sobre la temática de alguna de sus obras literarias, las cuales serán dirigidas por el presentador del evento para que el espectador pueda conectar con las obras de la exposición.

Mientras disfrutan de la fiesta, los asistentes también podrán deleitarse con música en vivo y el ambiente festivo. En este espacio al aire libre, la cultura, la creatividad y la comunidad se unirán en perfecta armonía.

Ese mismo día, se llevará a cabo la inauguración de una exposición de 30 días de las obras plásticas de los artistas visuales participantes, en la sala de exposiciones temporales del CENTRO CULTURAL DEL CARMEN.

 

DOMINGO 18 DE FEBRERO:

 

TOUR DE CLAUSURA A CASCADA EL CHIFLÓN, EL CAÑÓN DEL SUMIDERO O PUEBLOS INDÍGENAS.

Con el propósito de fortalecer los lazos entre los participantes del evento, hemos planificado un TOUR GUIADO que permitirá explorar la exuberante naturaleza de Chiapas. Durante esta experiencia, los artistas y escritores tendrán la libertad de elegir su destino, de entre las tres opciones que ha propuesto nuestro asesor de viajes:

 

  • Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de conectar sus almas mientras se sumergen en las aguas cristalinas de la impresionante CASCADA EL CHIFLÓN y de CHUKUMALTIK, un cenote de 200 metros de diámetro y casi 70 de profundidad, con aguas cristalinas.

  • Podrán navegar por las exóticas aguas del Río Grijalva y admirar el impresionante CAÑÓN DEL SUMIDERO, su flora y fauna, además de visitar el pueblo mágico de Chiapa de Corzo.

  • Como última opción, podrán optar por la visita a los PUEBLOS INDÍGENAS; SAN JUAN CHAMULA, ZINACANTÁN y GRUTAS DE RANCHO NUEVO, donde podrán explorar la belleza multicultural de las artesanías y maravillarse con las increíbles y caprichosas figuras formadas por las estalactitas y estalagmitas que decoran las grutas.
