La obra presenta a una mujer nacida en la sierra de Guerrero, donde el sol dora la piel y el silencio guarda la memoria de antiguos cantos. Creció entre raíces profundas y paisajes que enseñan a mirar el mundo con respeto y fortaleza. Su madre le bordó un rebozo con flores nacidas de la tierra que la vio crecer, mientras su abuelo le enseñó el valor de observar de frente y nunca bajar la mirada.
 
MEXICO EN LA PIEL (OLEO) evoca identidad, raíces y herencia cultural, representando en la figura femenina la fuerza de una tierra que se lleva no solo en el corazón, sino también en la piel.
 
The work portrays a woman born in the mountains of Guerrero, where the sun gilds the skin and silence preserves the memory of ancient songs. She grew up among deep roots and landscapes that teach one to look at the world with respect and strength. Her mother embroidered a rebozo for her with flowers born from the land where she grew up, while her grandfather taught her the value of looking straight ahead and never lowering her gaze.
 
MEXICO IN THE SKIN (OIL) evokes identity, roots, and cultural heritage, portraying in the female figure the strength of a land carried not only in the heart, but also in the skin.
