CONVIRTIENDOSE EN JAGUARA (MIXTA)
En las tierras del Mayab existe una leyenda que habla de una mujer bellísima que vaga por la selva durante las noches de luna llena. Su nombre es La Xtabay, una figura mítica capaz de poseer a los animales, como el jaguar o Balam, que para los mayas representaba un símbolo complejo de poder, así como el misterio del inframundo y de la noche.}
 
La obra evoca esa transformación simbólica entre mujer y jaguar, una unión espiritual con la fuerza de la naturaleza y con las energías ocultas de la selva. En este encuentro, lo humano y lo animal se funden en una misma esencia, recordando el profundo vínculo entre los seres humanos y el mundo sagrado de la cosmovisión maya.
 
BECOMING A FEMALE JAGUAR (MIXED MEDIA)
In the lands of the Mayab, there is a legend about a beautiful woman who wanders through the jungle during nights of the full moon. Her name is La Xtabay, a mythical figure capable of possessing animals such as the jaguar, or Balam, which for the Maya represented a complex symbol of power, as well as the mystery of the underworld and the night.
 
The artwork evokes this symbolic transformation between woman and jaguar, a spiritual union with the strength of nature and the hidden energies of the jungle. In this encounter, the human and the animal merge into a single essence, recalling the deep bond between human beings and the sacred world of the Mayan cosmovision.
