BELLEZA PERUANA (OLEO) está inspirada en el esplendor, la sabiduría ancestral y la espiritualidad que se respiran en un lugar tan maravilloso como Cusco, Perú. Más allá de su riqueza cultural, histórica y arquitectónica, en sus calles vi a varias mujeres con vestimenta tradicional, compartiendo con orgullo color, armonía y brillo. Posaban con turistas para tomarse fotografías a cambio de un donativo voluntario, como parte de su sustento diario. Una de ellas, parada con timidez detrás del grupo de amigas o colegas, llamó especialmente mi atención. Su sencillez y mirada tierna la convirtieron en parte de mi obra, en el rostro que mejor encarna esa “belleza peruana”. Sin duda alguna, ella dio más a mi lienzo de lo que yo pude ofrecerle.
 
PERUVIAN BEAUTY (OIL) This piece is inspired by the splendor, ancestral wisdom, and spirituality that permeate a place as extraordinary as Cusco, Peru. Beyond its rich cultural, historical, and architectural heritage, I was captivated by the women dressed in traditional attire who filled the streets with color, harmony, and radiance. They posed with tourists for photos in exchange for a small voluntary donation — a gesture that revealed both dignity and resilience. Among them, one woman in particular drew my attention. She stood shyly behind her friends or colleagues, her humble presence and gentle gaze emanating a quiet strength. It was her simplicity — her authenticity — that moved me most deeply. She became part of my work, the face that best embodies that Peruvian beauty. Undoubtedly, she gave far more to my canvas than I could ever offer in return.
