In AGAVE ALTAR (OIL), the human body merges with one of the most symbolic plants of Mexican culture, transforming into a ritual territory. The agave acts as altar and refuge, while the burning heart reveals a vital energy that connects the individual with the memory of the land. The work evokes the ancestral relationship between body, nature, and the sacred, where identity is built through surrender and resilience. Here, the root is not the past—it is a living pulse inhabiting the present.
