ALENUMBRE, LA LUZ EN LO FANTASTICO (OLEO) Inspirada en la creatividad latinoamericana y en la fuerza imaginativa de los alebrijes, esta obra revela el nacimiento de lo fantástico desde la raíz indígena. El niño, emblema de los pueblos originarios y de la memoria artesanal, sostiene sobre su cabeza un cascarón abierto del que emerge un alebrije luminoso. Esta criatura simboliza la inventiva mexicana que brota de la tierra, del linaje y de la imaginación ancestral. Las raíces que ascienden por el cuerpo del niño recuerdan que la fantasía también germina en la profundidad de nuestras tradiciones.
ALENUMBRE, THE LIGHT WITHIN THE FANTASTIC (OIL) Inspired by Latin American creativity and the imaginative power of alebrijes, this work reveals the birth of the fantastic from Indigenous roots. The child, emblem of native peoples and artisanal memory, holds above his head an open shell from which a luminous alebrije emerges. This creature symbolizes Mexican inventiveness arising from the land, lineage, and ancestral imagination. The roots ascending along the child’s body remind us that fantasy also germinates deep within our traditions.
