"Soy artista plástico con treinta años de experiencia. También me dedico a la restauración de pintura de caballete y a la valuación de obras de arte. Mi pasión por pintar paisajes comenzó desde temprana edad, cuando salía a días de campo al Nevado de Toluca y disfrutaba de todo lo que el entorno natural evocaba.

Me encanta trabajar este tema para plasmar en mis lienzos lugares que he visitado y que están cambiando con el tiempo. Además, he explorado la abstracción y la figura humana, disciplinas que también disfruto profundamente y que forman parte de mi obra actual".

“I am a visual artist with more than thirty years of experience. I also work in the restoration of easel paintings and in the appraisal of works of art. My passion for painting landscapes began at an early age, when I would go on day trips to the Nevado de Toluca and immerse myself in everything that the natural environment evoked. I enjoy working with this theme because it allows me to capture on my canvases the places I have visited—places that are constantly changing over time. In addition, I have explored abstraction and the human figure, disciplines that I also deeply enjoy and that are part of my current artistic work.”

Yolanda Bernal nació en la ciudad de Toluca, Estado de México, donde inició su formación plástica en la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMEX). Complementó sus estudios con clases particulares y talleres en diversos museos y centros culturales de Toluca, Metepec y la Ciudad de México. La guía de reconocidos artistas como Rafael Huerta y Larissa Barrera fue decisiva para que desarrollara, con conciencia y disciplina, su trayectoria dentro del paisaje hiperrealista, corriente a la que ha dedicado más de treinta años de labor apasionada.

Cuenta con múltiples diplomados en Historia del Arte, Gestión y Mantenimiento Preventivo de Bienes Patrimoniales con especialidad en restauración de pintura de caballete, Valuación de Obras de Arte, Estéticas Contemporáneas, Producción de Instalación y Educación Artística, entre otros. Actualmente es socia de Art Experience en Italia.

Su obra abarca técnicas como óleo, pastel, sanguina, acuarela, punta de plata y carboncillo. En su producción actual entrelaza abstracción y realismo, explorando el paisaje y la figura humana como espacios de contemplación y expresión. Asimismo, ha trabajado en la restauración de pintura religiosa y se ha dedicado a la docencia artística.

Desde sus inicios, ha participado en más de cuarenta exposiciones colectivas y tres individuales, tanto en México como en el extranjero, consolidando una trayectoria sólida y sensible dentro del arte contemporáneo.

Yolanda Bernal was born in the city of Toluca, State of Mexico, where she began her artistic training at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMEX). She complemented her studies with private lessons and workshops in various museums and cultural centers in Toluca, Metepec, and Mexico City. The guidance of renowned artists such as Rafael Huerta and Larissa Barrera was decisive in helping her develop, with awareness and discipline, her career in hyperrealist landscape painting, a field to which she has dedicated more than thirty years of passionate work. She holds several diplomas in Art History, Management and Preventive Conservation of Cultural Heritage—specializing in easel painting restoration—Art Appraisal, Contemporary Aesthetics, Installation Art Production, and Art Education, among others. She is currently a member of Art Experience in Italy. Her work spans a variety of techniques, including oil, pastel, sanguine, watercolor, silverpoint, and charcoal. In her current production, she intertwines abstraction and realism, exploring landscape and the human figure as spaces for contemplation and expression. She has also worked in the restoration of religious paintings and has been actively involved in art education. Since the beginning of her career, she has participated in more than forty collective exhibitions and three solo shows, both in Mexico and internationally, consolidating a solid and sensitive trajectory within contemporary art.
