TRANSFIGURACION LUMINOSA / LUMINOUS TRANSFIGURATION (OLEO SOBRE PAPEL) Es una obra que representa a la madre tierra, que se integra con dos corporalidades maternales: la abuela ancestral y la madre joven. Para los pueblos mayas, la tierra es una entidad femenina con conciencia sensible. La unión de las manos indica que ella está invocando y posando sobre su rostro el ave solar, energía masculina, en cuya escena se crea la luminosidad en el huipil de la deidad.
 
It is a work that represents Mother Earth, united with two maternal figures: the ancestral grandmother and the young mother. For the Maya people, the Earth is a feminine entity with a sensitive consciousness. The joining of the hands signifies that she is invoking and placing the solar bird, a masculine energy, upon her face, in a scene that creates luminosity in the deity's huipil.
