NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS (OIL ON CANVAS)

“In this painting, I have sought to convey the idea that our point of view is not universal. Our field of vision—whether physical, mental, cultural, intellectual, or otherwise—is always limited and encompasses only an infinitesimal part of reality. The car may appear fragmented; it may seem as though there are actually two cars, or that something is wrong with the reflection in the glass. In reality, it is neither a giant glass nor a real car, but rather a scale model. Ultimately, everything is reduced to a collection of paint marks on a canvas. Nothing is what it seems.”
