HOMBRE QUE REGRESA AL AVE SAGRADA (OLEO) La obra representa a un hombre en posición fetal que emerge del cascarón espiralado del huevo del quetzal, ave sagrada de la cosmovisión mesoamericana. En un diálogo entre tiempo, memoria y raíz latinoamericana, la figura regresa simbólicamente al origen que lo sostiene: un útero de espiral temporal, raíces que lo nutren y llaves que resguardan su destino. La pieza revela el retorno del ser humano a su ave mítica, a la matriz espiritual de la que proviene.
MAN RETURNING TO THE SACRED BIRD (OIL) This work depicts a man in a fetal position emerging from the spiral shell of a quetzal egg, a sacred bird in Mesoamerican cosmovision. In a dialogue between time, memory, and Latin American roots, the figure symbolically returns to the origin that sustains him: a womb of temporal spirals, nourishing roots, and keys that safeguard his destiny. The piece reveals humanity’s return to its mythical bird, to the spiritual matrix from which it originates.
