La máscara vegetal alude al rostro que la humanidad adopta para sobrevivir más allá de la muerte. Guardián del maíz evoca el ciclo eterno: el cuerpo que muere, el grano que germina y el espíritu que retorna.
GUIDE OF THE SOUL, GUARDIAN OF MAIZE (OIL): XOLO, the dog wearing a maize mask, appears as a bridge between worlds: a guide of the soul and custodian of maize as a sacred body. The vegetal mask alludes to the face humanity adopts to survive beyond death. Guardian of Maize evokes the eternal cycle: the body that dies, the seed that germinates, and the spirit that returns.
