"Mi nombre es Adela Calderón, en mi estilo realismo fantástico voy construyendo mis obras de manera intuitiva y con algunos elementos abstractos y figurativos.

En mi obra, invito al espectador a un viaje entre la realidad y fantasía y abro un espacio para la crítica y la reflexión. Soñar y hacer soñar es la intención, transportando los pensamientos a situaciones poco reales o absurdas.

Mi objetivo es construir un puente entre lo cotidiano y lo extraordinario, plasmando deseos, anhelos y emociones profundas, en otras palabras, para mi, pintar es abrir una ventana, donde el espíritu se manifiesta evocando el sueño por alcanzar. Esto es parte de mi argumento.

El camino más seguro para hacer arte es la experimentación. El destino es el arte mismo y el único motivo es el amor al arte. Esto es lo que me ha llevado a construir y consolidar mi carrera en una constante evolución".

In other words, for me, painting is opening a window where the spirit reveals itself, evoking the dream yet to be achieved. This is part of my artistic statement. The surest path to making art is experimentation. The destination is art itself, and the only true motive is love for art. This is what has led me to build and consolidate my career in a constant state of evolution.”

Es una artista mexicana cuya obra transita con fuerza poética entre la pintura y la escultura. Con una trayectoria sólida y constante, ha construido un lenguaje visual profundamente simbólico, donde el sueño, la figura humana y la introspección dialogan con la luz y la materia.

Su formación incluye estudios en el INBA, el Centro Cultural El Nigromante y talleres con reconocidos maestros como José Infante y Diego Martínez, complementados con diplomados en Historia del Arte y de la Música.

Ha expuesto de manera individual y colectiva en México, Estados Unidos, Canadá, España, Italia, Francia, India, Japón e Inglaterra, participando en museos, bienales y encuentros internacionales de gran relevancia.

La obra de Adela Calderón es una exploración sensible del mundo interior y la condición humana, consolidándola como una creadora de proyección internacional cuya mirada transforma emoción en forma y color.

Adela Calderón is a Mexican artist whose work moves powerfully between painting and sculpture. With a solid and consistent career, she has developed a deeply symbolic visual language in which dreams, the human figure, and introspection engage in dialogue with light and matter. Her training includes studies at INBA, Centro Cultural El Nigromante, and workshops with renowned masters such as José Infante and Diego Martínez, complemented by diplomas in Art History and Music History. She has exhibited both individually and collectively in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, France, India, Japan, and England, participating in museums, biennials, and major international art events. Adela Calderón’s work is a sensitive exploration of the inner world and the human condition, establishing her as an internationally projected artist whose vision transforms emotion into form and color.
